Army, Army Veteran, believe in you all, extreme research, keep the faith, killings, military family, murders, Peter Kassig
This one makes me sick to my stomach. Someone had the guts to kill an Army veteran. One that was doing a lot of good, too.
Here is the link for today’s article: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/islamic-state/11156660/US-army-veteran-Peter-Kassig-murdered-by-Isil.html
Coming from a military family myself (grandfathers on both sides of the family are veterans and my brother-in-law is in the Army), I have a high respect for the military. I don’t know why people would think that it’s okay to kill them off.
Okay, there’s war, and there’s prisoners of war. I get that. That doesn’t mean I have to like it, though. Besides, this guy was already discharged, so it’s not like he was actually in the war. He had moved there to focus on his Islamic faith which he had converted to while he was a POW.
I don’t like this. At all. I’m glad that the two videos I watched were not the brutal videos that were brought up in the article. I feel like I would have been sick to my stomach if I had seen the video. If you want to look up that video, please feel free to do so, but I’m certainly not.
I don’t know why people feel the need to kill others, and I know for a fact that I know I couldn’t. I may be able to write murder mysteries, but I won’t be actually killing anyone. That would be extreme research…
So, what do you think about this one? Feel free to let me know in the comments!
